Experimentation with Square Format Landscape

As I haven’t had the time or the opportunity to go out with my camera, I have found some images that I took a few months back whilst on holiday in Wales & the South of France and have decided to experiment with the black and white square format. Some of the images I think work better than others but bearing in mind that I did not know that I would be using them for this project I don’t think that they look too bad.

I’m hoping to get out this weekend and take some more pictures which I think would probably be more suitable for this project. I will also be experimenting with the other genres of photography that I have previously discussed on this blog, but for the meantime I hope that you enjoy these images……even though they are far from perfect.

I decided to include a colour image at the end because it was similar to the image above it and I thought it would be interesting to make a comparison between the two to see which one I would prefer….still not sure!!! :/
